Dubai College is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head: Director of Studies to lead the timetable and provide the foundational structure that makes the transformational Dubai College curriculum possible. As the curriculum is renewed, every innovation, from the KS3 Curious Curriculum to EDGE and new KS4 and KS5 pathways, depends on a timetable built to deliver it. The post also turns the assessment philosophy into systems that teachers, students and parents trust, bringing together options, the MIS, data, reporting, examinations and providing inspection evidence. The Director of Studies is Deputy Head of Centre and oversees all examinations. They must be an experienced timetabler who builds the whole-school timetable and understands how to reach student focused solutions.
They also lead the Studies team and further have the key role overseeing the KHDA portal and all inspection data.
